PSG – Real Madrid

When teams like PSG and Real Madrid face each other, we can’t expect anything else but a fantastic game of football. Some of the best players in the world will be on the pitch at the Parc des Princes in Wednesday in a clash from Group A of the Champions League.

PSG’s manager Thomas Tuchel has serious problems before this game. PSG’s biggest superstars Neymar and Kylian Mbappe are missing the match against Real Madrid. Neymar is suspended for three games, while Mbappe is still recovering from an injury. Meanwhile Edinson Cavani is also not at 100 percent recovered, so he might start the game from the bench. This means that the loanee Mauro Icardi could find himself leading the French’s team attack.

Icardi alredy debuted for PSG during the weekend, when the French champion achieved a very difficult 1-0 win over Strasbourg at home. The Argentine striker entered the pitch after the halftime break, while PSG won the game with a late and very beautiful goal by Neymar.

In the same time Real Madrid’s manager Zinedine Zidane is happy that now he can use his most expensive summer signing Eden Hazard. The Belgian star made his official debut during the weekend, coming in as a substitute against Levante. Most likely Hazard will start against PSG in Paris.

Against Levante Real Madrid scored three times, thanks to a brace from Karim Benzema and a goal from Casemiro, but Los Blancos also conceded twice. Against PSG the Spanish team must do better in defense, because the French side is pretty good in attack.

PSG and Real Madrid are the two teams who will rival for the first place in Group A of the Champions League. On Wednesday one of them could make a solid step towards the top of the group. We can’t wait to see which one it is going to be.
